I’m sure that most of you have been sitting on the edge of your seat just anticipating the next two steps in developing a brand and how designers make is better, easier and more productive. Well, wait no more….
1. Define the Problem
2. Envision the End
3. Define the Approach Once you know where you want to go you have to figure our how you are going to get there. Designers can help you draw a map, literally. We are great problem solvers. We can help you find the most effective, fastest and cheapest way to reach your target audience. Since we are passionate about what we do and what we want to do for our clients, we can help other team members gain the same vision for the brand.
4. Incite Support and Action It’s rare to have every member of a team agree. Often people have to be educated and inspired to join a cause. Designers are great communicators because we have to be. Not only can we spread a message through what we create (posters, websites, business cards), we are also good verbal communicators and can rally team members and help them see something in a new way. Before long, with the help of your design team, everyone from interns to managers will be itching to work on your project and get the word out about this awesome new project. And who wouldn’t want that for their brand?
Once again, thanks to AIGA. If you are interested in learning more about the role of designers, check out their website. You’ll find lots of really cool stuff to read and look at.
Until next month friends….
